Missing Singer found in Suffolk? My dad told me that there was a famous British female singer, whose husband committed suicide. She then vanished from the music scene, and has been now found in Suffolk. If I am correct, she was famous in roughly the 1970's... or somewhere around that. Does anyone know what her name was? Identify indie band, has female band member playing cello? Please can you tell me the name of this indie band? I saw their video in winter of 2005 on MTV2. In the video they play to school kids in a school assembly hall, school kids wore red jumbers (me thinks.) In another video the lead singer in singing outside in the freezing cold. The one female in the band plays the cello. The lead singer is really energetic when he sings, in other words bounces around when he sings, and had a short beard. Have you ever heard of Lily Allen (British singer)? She ROCKS!!! Unlike many female artists, she cares about the way she sings and sounds when speaking, she has a functioning brain, and she can sing! One of my favorite songs by her is LDN and Track 10 on her cd. (I don't know the name of that one) I also think her accent is cool. =)
